Does Message Monkey store any messages?

Message Monkey does not store user messages or files persistently. Message metadata is kept by Message Monkey for future reconciliation across platforms, but the actual messages and files are not stored permanently.

Do I need both Slack and Teams licences for Message Monkey to work?

No, unlike other tools, with Message Monkey you do not need to pay for extra licences to be able to communicate with your stakeholders on a different platform. Check out the pricing page for more detailed pricing FAQ's here.

How do I install Message Monkey?

Simply sign up, following the Pricing & Signup (Link to Pricing + Signup) and follow the instructions of installing the bot. The end-to-end process of setting up Message Monkey is usually less than 10 minutes.

Is Message Monkey secure and resilient?

Message Monkey take security and resiliency very seriously. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry standard AES 256-bit encryption, ensuring your data is kept hidden to any unwanted individuals.


Message Monkey use three AWS regions, each geographically spread, resulting in a highly redundant architecture in the event regional / geo-political issues. You can read more about this on the Security page here.

What platform is Message Monkey hosted on and where?

Message Monkey is hosted on AWS Cloud. You have the ability to choose the region for where Message Monkey operates for you. This could be US, Singapore or Germany.

Who controls the member joining process between platforms?

An admin is required across both platforms and it will be the admins that have the authority to add/ remove members.

The admins are created during the sign-up process but can be altered at any time in the portal.

Is a monthly payment option available?

Message Monkey want to ensure the upmost flexibility for its customers, that's why we have both monthly and annual options available along with different package options to suit your need.
